  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Go to Settings:

  • Option 1: Click on the dashboard icon in the upper-right corner, then navigate to the Settings section (found at the bottom of the left column).

  • Option 2: Use the Settings shortcut in the dropdown menu that appears when you click on your profile avatar.

  1. Fill in all the required profile information.

  2. Click Update to finalize.

3. Say Hi

  • Log in and say \"Hi\" for seven consecutive days to earn 0.04167 after the 7th day. Missing a day will reset your streak.
     Steps:

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Navigate to your profile dashboard (accessible via the dashboard icon or directly upon login).

  3. Locate the “Say Hi gadget” at the top of your dashboard. Each day, click on one of the seven empty slots.

  4. After completing all seven days, you’ll receive your reward.

4. Logging Game Results

  • Earn MGC by submitting the results of your solo or team games. The amount earned depends on various factors, including:

  • Game Type: Solo or Team (team rewards are divided among members by the captain).

  • Referee Involvement: Games with referees earn higher rewards.

  • Outcome: Winners earn more, but even losers receive some rewards.

  • Photo Submission: Including a game photo boosts the reward for both winners and losers.

The following branching diagram outlines the details of how much MGC you can earn in different scenarios.

Ranking Gameplay Rules and Concepts

  1. Team Membership Limit: You can create or join up to 20 teams, including those you create yourself and captain.
  2. Result Logging Limit: Each player can log up to 3 records per day, including Team and Solo activities (excluding Tournament results).
  3. Game Availability in Your Profile:
  • To play or compete in any game on Ranking, you and your opponent (or team) must have that game added to your profiles.
  • For Tournaments: You must have the game added to your profile if you want to join its tournament.
  • For Team Tournaments: Your team must also have the game listed in its profile to participate.
  • For Joining Teams: If you’re looking to join a team for a specific game, you’ll need that game added to your personal profile first.

  1. League Rules:
  • Invitations can only be sent to players in the same league as you for the chosen game.
  • Similarly, your team can only send or receive invitations from other teams within the same league.
  1. How Leagues Work:
  • Each game consists of multiple leagues. The number of leagues grows as the player base for the game increases.
  • New players are added to the last league at the bottom of the list.
  • The number of players in each league follows the Fibonacci sequence:
  • League 1: 89 players
  • League 2: 144 players
  • League 3: 233 players, and so on.
  • At the end of each defined period (fixed duration), players in the top half of their league move up to the next league, while players in the bottom half move down to the league below.
  • The total number of leagues for a game depends on the number of players. The larger the player base, the more leagues are created.

Rankings & Leaderboards

How do I get better rankings?

  • Win PVP matches against other players in your chosen game

  • Join tournaments for that specific game and perform well

  • Beat higher-ranked players for bonus points

  • Play consistently in your game - activity matters!

  • Focus on one game to climb its leaderboard faster

What are leagues?

Leagues group players of similar skill levels:

  • League 4: Beginners

  • League 3: Intermediate players

  • League 2: Advanced players

  • League 1: Expert players

Move up by winning, drop down by losing

League leaderboards reset every 2 weeks to keep competition fresh

How do rankings work?

Everyone starts at the bottom and climbs up by winning:

  • Game-specific leaderboards: Each game has its own separate leaderboard

  • Solo player rankings: Individual player rankings for each game

  • Team player rankings: Team rankings for each game

  • League leaderboards: Separate league rankings that reset every 2 weeks

  • No global leaderboard: each game is ranked separately

Each game has its own leaderboard. Rankings are based on accumulated score and do not reset.

Gameplay Modes Overview

Ranking offers three primary gameplay modes to cater to diverse gaming preferences: Solo Play, Team Play, and Tournaments. Here's an overview of each mode:

1. Solo Play

Solo Play is a one-on-one competition where two players face off in a selected game. Here's how it works:

  • Inviting a Player: Players can invite another user to a game. The invitation form allows players to specify key details such as:
  • Game Title (must be selected at the start)
  • Game Type (digital or physical)
  • Time and Venue (for physical games) or Platform (for digital games)
  • Referee Options: Decide if a referee is required and, if so, who it will be.
  • Adjusting Details: Other game specifics can be finalized later using Ranking's messaging tools, external communication methods, or any agreed-upon approach. These finalized details must be updated on Ranking.
  • Joining the Game: Both players must confirm their participation by joining the game on Ranking to begin competing.
  • League Requirement: Players must belong to the same league to ensure fair matches and similar skill levels.

2. Team Play

  • Joining a Team:
  • Browse existing teams on Ranking and request to join.
  • Captains review and approve new members.
  • Forming a Team:
  • Create a new team from scratch.
  • Invite friends or Ranking players to join.
  • Team Management:
  • Teams are managed by a Captain who:
  • Assigns roles.
  • Coordinates gameplay schedules.
  • Oversees team operations.
  • Playing as a Team:
  • Participate in team games where collaboration is key.
  • Earn rewards collectively for team achievements.

3. Tournaments

Tournaments offer a competitive format for solo players and teams to showcase their skills and win prizes. Here's what you need to know:

  • Tournament Types: Players can join either Solo Tournaments or Team Tournaments.
  • Finding a Tournament: Use filters to search for tournaments by: game type, mode (solo or team), etc.
  • Joining a Tournament: Tournaments on Ranking often require an entry fee, which can vary depending on factors like the organizer's settings and sponsorships. To join a tournament:
  • Review the tournament rules carefully to understand the guidelines and requirements.
  • Pay the entry fee as specified.
  • Confirm your participation to secure your spot and compete!
  • Gameplay and Prizes: Compete in scheduled matches and log results.

If you win a tournament, the prize is allocated to you after the submission of the results and confirmation by the organizer.

For team tournaments, when your team wins, the prize is allocated to the team account and distributed by the team captain.

  • Prizes: The prize pool is displayed on the tournament page and varies for each event.
  • Sponsored Tournaments: Some tournaments are sponsored, offering higher rewards and unique opportunities for participants.
  • Team Prize Distribution: In team tournaments, prizes are allocated to the team and can later be distributed among players by the team captain.
