Here, you can manage your account information, enhance your security, and customize your preferences for emails and newsletters.

You can access this section by navigating to the Dashboard:

1. Click on the dashboard icon located at the top right corner of the page, next to your profile avatar.
2. From the left-hand menu in the dashboard, select Setting.

Shortcut: Click on your avatar at top right corner of the site, and select Setting from the drop down menu. 

1. Basic Information

In this section, you can update the personal details that appear on your profile, including:

• Avatar: Your avatar in Ranking is a unique representation of you, designed to grow and evolve alongside your activity. Starting as a newborn, it will transform into a heroic gaming character based on your behavior and interactions within the platform. You can only create your avatar once, so choose wisely—it cannot be changed later.

Here’s how you can create your avatar based on your sign-up method:

• Signing Up with Email Address: When signing up with an email address, you’ll go through a setup process during registration. You’ll answer a series of questions, and an avatar will be suggested based on your responses. Once selected, this avatar becomes your permanent character in Ranking.
• Signing Up with Google Account: If you sign up using a Google account, you won’t create your avatar during the registration process. Instead, you’ll need to head to the Settings section of your profile to complete the avatar creation process. Similar to the email sign-up, you’ll answer questions, and an avatar will be suggested. Once created, it becomes your permanent avatar.

Regardless of the method, your avatar is a reflection of your journey, making every step in Ranking truly personal and engaging!

• Avatar Name: This is your unique username visible to others. You can choose it when signing up via email or within 3 days of signing up with a Google account. Like your avatar, this is a one-time selection and serves as your permanent identity in the gaming world. Choose wisely, as it will represent you in the Ranking community.
• Display Name: You can update this name anytime to control how it appears on your profile.
• Email Address: This is the email address linked to your account. Please note that once it is set during signup, it cannot be changed.
• Country/State: Select your current location to help tailor your experience.
• Bio: Write a brief introduction about yourself, your interests, or anything you'd like others to know. This is displayed on your profile. (up to 400 characters).

Once you’ve updated your details, click Update to save your changes.

2. Security

This section allows you to manage and enhance the security of your account and update your password.

You can access this section by navigating to the Dashboard:

1. Click on the dashboard icon located at the top right corner of the page, next to your profile avatar.
2. From the left-hand menu in the dashboard, select Security.

Steps to Update Your Password:

1. Enter your Old Password.
2. Type your New Password (make sure it’s strong and secure).
3. Confirm your new password by re-entering it.
4. Click Update to save your new password.

Note: Use a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters to create a strong password.

3. Emails & Newsletters

Control the types of emails and notifications you receive from Ranking.game.

Options Available:

• Community Updates: Stay informed about platform news and events.
• Tournaments: Receive updates on upcoming tournaments and competitions.
• Messages: Get notified about messages from other users.
• Achievement Opportunities: Learn about new challenges and ways to earn badges.
• Ranking Weekly Newsletter: Subscribe to receive weekly insights and highlights from the platform.

Simply toggle the switches ON or OFF to customize your preferences.

• Review and update your profile regularly to keep it accurate and engaging.
• Enable only the email notifications that are relevant to your preferences.
• Use a secure password and update it periodically for added security.
